FABRIC
Inspired by the jacket fabric used in the 1992 CHAN*EL runway mermaid look. A solid black base is covered with black sequins, creating a luxurious liquid-metal effect while adapting the material for menswear.
FIT
Designed with a slim, cropped silhouette inspired by contemporary fashion-house tailoring. The proportions were refined through multiple revisions to create a fitted look while still allowing room and comfort through the body.
CONCEPT
The concept comes from FAKE MINK’s description of his music: “luxurious yet dirty.” Our interpretation is luxury expressed through the rawness of the street. We took a fabric associated with luxury runway fashion and brought it onto a streetwear hoodie.
